My partner and i have been talking about buying a house so we can move in together for some time now, but haven’t been actively hunting...
Monday we found a place that was about 90% what we wanted (including oversized garage) within my theoretical budget. Yesterday we looked at it, and today we are putting in an offer as soon as the mortgage pre-approval comes through.
So now i get to go through all the house buying joys, do some minor renovations to it, move and condense two households worth of stuff, finish all the work i am in the middle of on my current hpuse, and put that up for sale.
Why did i do this to myself?
